Biden taunts nuclear war with his own citizens: ‘You’ll need nuclear weapons to take on govt’

Joe Biden gaffes are serious and relentless. 

The president is no stranger to public missteps or misspeaking and Wednesday was no exception as, during a press conference with Attorney General Merrick Garland, Biden hammered the Second Amendment and its’ supporters, even claiming that Americans need F-15s and nuclear weapons to take on their government.

A pale, sickly-looking Biden was struggling to read from his teleprompter as he made his remarks, ranting about deer in kevlar vests and apparently challenging lawful gun owners with a reminder that the federal government has nukes.

“Those who say the blood of lib- — ‘the blood of patriots,’ you know, and all the stuff about how we’re going to have to move against the government. Well, the tree of liberty is not watered with the blood of patriots,” the president said, flubbing the quote by Thomas Jefferson.

“What’s happened is that there have never been — if you wanted or if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons. The point is that there has always been the ability to limit — rationally limit the type of weapon that can be owned and who can own it,” he added.

It appears Biden was threatening those Americans who believe the Second Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights to guarantee them the power to fight back against a tyrannical government. 

Biden may want to re-visit his Constitutional law class, and perhaps public speaking for that matter. 

Biden also completely jumbled the name of the Baton Rouge police chief whom he says is working closely with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; the ATF; and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to help take on criminal organizations distributing or using illegal weapons.

A case of mistaken identity, something President Joe Biden is all too familiar with: “Police Chief Murray…excuse me, Police Chief Mary, Police Chief Murphy Paul of Baton Rouge, Louisiana”.

The mistake elicited instant reactions from Twitter with one woman asking “Most powerful man in the world ???”

Another remarked, “This is getting more ridiculous by the day”.

Biden wasn’t done just yet. Another gaffe came when he pointed out, “The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon.”

The president’s inflammatory remarks about nukes and fighter jets immediately received backlash on Twitter, where some noted how his own words seemed to poke holes in the Democrats’ narrative about the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

These are far from Biden’s first gaffes and certainly will not be his last. In March of 2020, Biden infamously failed at quoting the Declaration of Independence. 

“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women are created, by the, you know, you know the thing,” Biden said.

You know, you know the thing.
