Fox News contributor Joe Concha of The Hill warned Friday that if former President Donald Trump runs for president in 2024, the media will relentlessly dog him over the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol, all as they ignore President Joe Biden’s shortcomings.

“Every time Donald Trump appears in public, Jan. 6th will immediately be evoked by those on the left in the media, and that’s the challenge that Donald Trump has,” he said on Fox News’ “Fox News @ Night.”

This doesn’t mean Trump won’t get the nomination.

“If he runs for president in 2024, every analyst that you speak to out there, including me, would say that he absolutely will get the nomination given that he had 74 million votes in 2020, so that’s a big head start,” Concha noted.

But, he continued, the general election will be an endless referendum on the Jan. 6th riot.

“January 6th is something that will dog him every time he speaks, every time he is in public. And then [the] issues will go to the side and any election will again come back to a referendum on Donald Trump’s personality, his rhetoric, not so much the positions that he stands for,” he said.

Conversely, Concha expects the media to ignore Biden’s shortcomings just as they’re doing now, particularly in regard to the crisis along the southern U.S. border.

“The fact that President Biden isn’t being taken to task more for what this crisis is. Not even a crisis. It’s a catastrophe at the border when you think about the numbers, the record number of people that are coming here illegally … that kids are being used as pawns,” he said.

This week video footage emerged of a 5-year-old boy standing by a border wall alone, crying his heart out.

“An unidentified woman took him onto to U.S. soil and then just left him there. His screams attracted the attention of Border Patrol, who questioned the boy then put him in a truck and took him away,” El Paso station KFOX reported.

In response, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican, slammed Biden and Vice President Harris for “allowing human traffickers and cartels to exploit young, innocent children at our southern border.”

As of Sunday, days after the video emerged, it appeared that neither CNN, The New York Times nor The Washington Post had written a report about it.

These outlets have also been mostly quiet about Biden locking illegal alien children in the same so-called “cages” used by former President Trump.

In February, the Post did run one story about one set of “cages,” except the paper framed it as a “migrant facility for children.”

The Post spent the majority of its report describing the facility, which is comprised of a bunch of trailers, with some of the most complimentary words seen in years.

“The most colorful trailer is at the entryway, where flowers, butterflies and handmade posters still hang on its walls from Carrizo’s first opening in 2019,” one sentence read.

Below is photo of the allegedly cozy trailers that looks an awful lot like cages:

“‘Kids in cages was retired on Jan. 20th when the president was inaugurated, because that term no longer exists. This responsibility, in terms of the president, no longer exists in terms of what we see with videos like this with kids being abandoned at the border, being thrown over the wall literally,” Concha pointed out.

Conservatives expect this sort of coverage to continue for the next four years straight, even as the country faces crisis after crisis after crisis.

Last month the hacking of a pipeline by Russian operatives spawned gas shortages all along the East Coast. Earlier this month the hacking of a meat company caused all U.S.-based JBS plants to be temporarily shuttered.

Meanwhile, the media have been salivating over the president’s choice in ice cream.

And the president’s love of cookies:

And the president’s alleged muscles:

And the president’s cat:
