Tears! Father-daughter TikTok video on Critical Race Theory is exactly what we need right now

An inspirational and heartwarming TikTok video has gone viral in which a father and and his young daughter provide a unifying message that counters divisive critical race theory.

“So we need to stop CRT period, point-blank. Period. Children do not see skin color, man; they love everybody,” the dad declares.

“How we treat people is based on who they are, not what color they are,” explains Kory Yeshua in the video. “And if they are nice and smart,” his daughter agrees.

“This is how children think, right here; critical race theory wants to end that,” Yeshua continues.

In the clip shared on Twitter by conservative influencer and congressional candidate Robby Starbuck, who described it as “one of the best videos opposing [CRT] that you’ll ever see,” Yeshua also explains that he teaches his daughter that she can accomplish anything with hard work.

“Work hard even though you don’t know anyone; you can make friends,” his daughter enthusiastically adds.

In the guise of anti-racism, CRT seeks to shame, if not smear, one group while creating resentment in another based only on immutable characteristics.

Meanwhile, collective guilt has never been part of the American tradition. CRT is also at odds with the fundamental goals of the civil rights movement that led to federal and state laws rendering racial discrimination of any kind illegal, including in the educational space.

As CRT has gained traction across the country in both academic and corporate circles, grassroots opposition is mounting. The state of Florida is one of the states that has already banned CRT in public schools. “Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said earlier this year.

Although liberal Twitter has its share of CRT advocates, many others lauded the sentiments contained in the father-daughter video. Here is just a sampling of the huge response:
