House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s mask mandate and threat to bar unvaccinated members of Congress from the House floor have Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene convinced that the 81-year-old congressional matriarch is either a shameless hypocrite or “mentally ill.”

At issue, according to Greene, is the fact that, like most Democrats, the House speaker doesn’t practice what she preaches.

Speaking Thursday on “The Water Cooler,” a podcast by David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network, the firebrand conservative lawmaker pointed to a video from earlier that day of Pelosi hanging out unmasked at the White House as proof.

“I named her from day one ‘the queen from the house of hypocrites,’ and that’s exactly what she is. There’s a video just out now of her enjoying herself mask-free at the White House … while she’s running a tyrannical, oppressive workplace here at the House of Representatives,” the congresswoman said.

Watch the video below:

Yet, Greene continued, this same woman seen walking unmasked in the White House has been “forcing us to wear masks, abusing our individual freedoms, demanding that members of Congress get the COVID vaccine, which is still not approved by the FDA, by the way, and you can’t even demand to know people’s private medical records.”

“So our vaccine history is none of her business. As a matter of fact, it’s a violation of our HIPAA rights for her to demand to know,” the congresswoman added.

But apparently, it doesn’t matter. During her weekly press briefing Thursday, Pelosi took it a step further by suggesting she may bar members of Congress who refuse to wear a mask and haven’t been vaccinated from even coming onto the House floor.

“This is classic … Nancy Pelosi because she doesn’t believe in a government for the people. She believes in a tyrannical, socialist or maybe even communist government,” Greene argued.

Either that or “this woman is mentally ill,” she added.

Listen to her interview with Brady below:

“We can look back in a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second-class citizens. So much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi, Germany, and this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about,” the congresswoman continued.

All as she’s allowed herself to do whatever she wants, such as having allowed COVID-positive Democrat members of Congress to show up in person in early January so that they could vote her in as speaker.

“On day one here in ‘the house of hypocrites,’ when we were sworn in, Nancy Pelosi flew in COVID-positive members of Congress and then she built a little box up in the Chamber, up there on the second floor, where she put these positive COVID members,” Greene explained.

“By the way it wasn’t a completely closed space. There was open air throughout the rest of the room. Well, she brought in COVID-positive members [anyway] and exposed everyone in the entire building, and they traveled across the country spreading COVID. So this is a woman that doesn’t care about people’s safety,” she added.

So what does Pelosi care about? “Power and control,” according to the congresswoman, which is why the speaker has no qualms about constantly behaving in hypocritical ways.

“We could come to a place where we say if you don’t want to wear a mask and if you’re not vaccinated, don’t even come to the floor. We have facilities up above in the gallery where people can come to vote. We don’t want to deter anyone’s ability to exercise their constitutional duties,” she said while unmasked during her weekly press briefing Thursday.

Her remarks came a day after Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie revealed in a series of bombshell tweets that the speaker has only been enforcing her mask mandate on the House floor, where, it just so happens, a TV camera is always present.

During Thursday’s briefing, the speaker added that she intends to keep the mask mandate intact until all members of Congress have been vaccinated.

“We have to wait for them to be vaccinated because they are selfishly an endangerment to other people including staff people here,” she reportedly said, adding that going by an “honor system” wouldn’t be enough for her at this point.

“Do you want them breathing in your face on the strength of their honor? We have a responsibility to make sure that the House of Representatives chamber is not a petri dish because of the selfishness of some not to be vaccinated,” she added.

But apparently, it’s perfectly OK if the White House is a so-called “petri dish” of germs …
