Woman accused of killing NYPD officer posted video to FB of her drinking alcohol, saying ‘f*** the police’

A woman who is accused of tragically killing veteran NYPD officer Anastasios Tsakos in a hit and run early Tuesday morning was hosting an extended Facebook livestream while allegedly consuming hard liquor, wine, and pot and ranting about police several hours before the incident.

As she signed off the podcast on the “Face the Reality” radio show and told her viewers/listeners that she would see them next Monday evening, she added “until then, f— the police.”

The motorist also allegedly told the cops who later arrested here “F— you; I don’t have to listen to you.”

She allegedly recorded an 0.15 on a breathalyzer device, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08, according to the New York Daily News, and was operating the vehicle, a 2013 Volkswagen, on a suspended license.

The suspect, Jessica Beauvais, 32, reportedly faces multiple felonies including two counts of vehicular manslaughter, reckless endangerment, fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, leaving an accident resulting in death, aggravated unlicensed operator, and aggravated unlicensed operator involving alcohol. She was also charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, both misdemeanors.

These are unproven charges and must be proven in a court of law for any conviction to take place.

“In a criminal complaint…authorities wrote that Beauvais told authorities she had two glasses of wine and took her 13-year-old son to Hempstead, then smoked a joint, gulped two shots of 1800 Patron Tequila and took a bottle of wine into her Brooklyn podcast,” the Daily News added.

The fallen officer, highway patrolman Tsakos, 43, and a father of two, was responding to a separate accident on the Long Island Expressway in Queens when at about 2:30 a.m., she allegedly plowed into the 14-year lawman who was redirecting traffic at the time, while he was standing near his police cruiser.

The officer reportedly was thrown 150 feet in the air in the impact. He tragically died at a local hospital after EMTS transported him there.

Beauvais allegedly fled the scene initially. “The alleged drunk driver kept going several exits before exiting the LIE and mounting a sidewalk. With police surrounding her, Beauvais then allegedly tried another escape, reversing twice into a police car behind her,” according to prosecutors, the New York Post reported.

The suspect is being held without bail and is due back in court on Friday, April 30. An emotional Beauvais subsequently apologized for what happened. “I’m sorry that I hit him and now he’s dead,” she said in the above footage as she was taken to her arraignment.

During the long online broadcast during which she opined about various issues, Beauvais allegedly told the audience that police officers sign up for “potential death like in the Army.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Officer Tsakos’ family.
