‘White women’ and their long-held support of ‘supremacy’ become new target in Cosmo diatribe

Cosmopolitan, a 135-year-old magazine for women, published a racist screed Wednesday about so-called “whiteness” and about how white women like former Minnesota police officer Kim Potter are guilty of perpetuating it.

According to far-left screed writer Frederick Joseph, a black man who last year slammed the Fourth of July for perpetuating “reverse racism” because “AllCountriesMatter,” white women “exist at the intersection of both whiteness and womanhood”

This is relevant, he claims, because “every system in America is founded upon and rooted in white supremacy.”

“Therefore, a person who can claim whiteness has more power within those systems than those who cannot,” he adds.

Enter white women, who Joseph argues cannot be spared from judgment just because they’re victims of the patriarchy.

“Even now, many white women aim to uphold these systems, as was the case in their support for Donald Trump not only in 2016 but also during 2020 when his exit poll numbers showed an increase in support by white women from the prior presidential election,” he writes.

“This overt support of white supremacy isn’t new amongst white women, as we saw with the suffragists and with the Daughters of the Confederacy and many other groups created by white women with the sole intent of upholding white supremacist ideology and structures.”

Basically, all white women are racist, according to Joseph, including Potter, and it’s important to acknowledge this because it explains why white women keep screwing up.

In the case of Potter, she screwed up by accidentally firing her gun while trying to restrain a suspected armed robber who was resisting arrest during a traffic stop.

During the melee that ensued, she accidentally drew and fired her gun instead of her taser, thus killing suspect Daunte Wright.

And according to Joseph, the reason this happened is because of Potter’s “whiteness.”

Unfortunately for Mr. Joseph, many people think he’s an “idiot.”

The problem with Joseph’s logic, critics say, is that it robs people of personal responsibility by allowing veritable race-baiters like him to blame an entire group of people for the actions of a few.

It would be like someone blaming all black people for the preponderance of anti-Asian crimes committed by black criminals.

In fact, according to 2018 crime data from the Department of Justice, black-on-Asian crime is far, far, far more common than Asian-on-black crime:

Yet stunningly, even this phenomenon has been blamed on white supremacy and so-called “whiteness.”

Case in point:

Joseph’s rhetoric follows a pattern of members of the left blaming all white people for everything that happens, even when white people aren’t involved.

In the case of Wright’s fatal shooting, a white person obviously was involved, though that itself doesn’t signify anything, which is why Potter was charged with second-degree manslaughter versus a hate crime.

Prosecutors’ version of events, which is backed by video evidence, is that Potter accidentally drew her gun instead of her taser during an altercation that ensued after Wright began resisting arrest during the April 11th traffic stop gone bad.

However, left-wing activists spurred by what appears to be a desire for vengeance, have dismissed this version of events and crafted their own narrative accusing Potter of having deliberately killed Wright because of racial animus.

“While we appreciate that the district attorney is pursuing justice for Daunte, no conviction can give the Wright family their loved one back. This was no accident. This was an intentional, deliberate and unlawful use of force,” Ben Crump, the attorney for Wright’s family, said in a statement Wednesday.

He added, “Driving while black continues to result in a death sentence. A 26-year veteran of the force knows the difference between a taser and a firearm. Kim Potter executed Daunte for what amounts to no more than a minor traffic infraction and a misdemeanor warrant.”

In other words, Potter “executed” Wright because she suffers from “whiteness,” or so the race-baiters and race hustlers would have you believe …
