Even as Democrats are gearing up for a domestic war on terror aimed at American citizens, another war is reportedly already in process.

According to reporting from Fox News’ Lara Logan, this unseen war is occurring along the southern U.S. border, only miles away from the homes of Americans.

For the latest season of her Fox Nation’ program, “Lara Logan Has No Agenda,” the host traveled to the border to witness the war for herself.

“Accompanied by counter-terrorism specialist Jason Jones, Logan visited Roma, Texas, a small city on the Rio Grande. According to Jones, fierce gun battles originating just across the border in the Mexican city of Ciudad Miguel Aleman had been heard for four consecutive days,” Fox News reported Thursday.

Much to Logan’s surprise, the “battles” were still ongoing when she arrived in Roma.

“One day, Logan and Jones were walking in an area of town close to the river at 4 a.m. when they heard the report from an automatic rifle,” according to Fox News. “The two rushed to a lookout point on the Rio Grande. While nothing could be seen from their vantage point overlooking Ciudad Miguel Aleman, only several hundred feet away, the rifles could clearly be heard.”

Responding to Logan’s shock over what she was witnessing, Jones said, “This is what I have been trying to warn about. Another day at the border.”

Another day at a border that’s quickly spiraling out of control now that President Joe Biden has taken over the reins of the government.

Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” Monday morning, Logan explained how the cartels responsible for the gun battles she witnessed are also responsible for funneling “thousands” of illegal aliens across the border.

“I think the headline here is that the cartels have become a shadow government in Mexico. They’re a parallel government. And the Mexican government itself takes its orders from the cartels. They control everything on both sides of the border,” she said.

“So what you’re seeing already is they have communicated to people, they have people rushing over the border in high numbers now. Pretty much, you know, a lot of the sectors are up significantly in terms of got-aways,” she added.

How “up?” By thousands, according to Logan.

“I mean, we’re talking about thousands of people who are just running past Border Patrol agents. And they can’t keep up with the numbers, because they’re waiting for that amnesty. Under the new administration, if you were here before January 20th, then you will be folded into that amnesty bill,” she explained.

“And Border Patrol has no way of knowing or proving how long people who have been illegal are in the country. So they are coming — those numbers are up already. They would be up by more if it weren’t for the fact that a Texas judge had put a freeze on — or had put a stay on the Biden administration’s hold on all deportations.”

Listen to her remarks below:

What concerns Logan and Jones, besides thousands of unvetted illegal immigrants streaming into the U.S., is the potential for the cartels themselves to begin arriving here.

“We found the cartels more aggressive by the day. What Jason Jones and others called an escalating national security nightmare. Armed with military grade weapons, a war chest in the billions and unconstrained by the rules of war, they’re not stopping at the border,” Logan said in a clip from “Lara Logan Has No Agenda” that was played on “Fox & Friends.”

The clip then showed Jones remarking, “At the end of the day, this is the national security threat that has to be addressed. It has to. It can’t just go on.”

But with Biden at the reins, a man who may very well be the most pro-illegal alien president in American history, it’s not clear this will be ending anytime soon. In fact, it could wind up growing even worse, given as Biden is focusing on taking care of illegals instead of protecting the border.

“Based on the guidelines so far that have gone out to the border agencies, they are moving from a mission of border security to one that is almost entirely about migrant care. Because they are taking agents off their normal jobs. They are taking them off security patrols. They’re taking them off the special units like post patrols,” Logan explained on “Fox & Friends.”

“And they are already building facilities now. And basically they don’t want to keep people there because under the COVID guidelines you, you know, you have to have certain distances between people. And Border Patrol isn’t even set up to house children, right, and families, let alone house people under COVID. They are just going to be shipping them out as quickly as they can,” she said.

This is, in fact, already happening.

“In the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, adults arriving with children are now being taken to the Border Patrol station in McAllen for processing, and then typically released into the U.S. interior,” The Washington Post confirmed Wednesday.

The plan appears to be to turn America into an open borders nation.

“The U.S. is opening up its border, right? Pretty much looking to more open borders, bypassing the legal immigration system that exists right now, giving people alternative paths,” Logan said.
