Establishment left-wing media “journalists” whose outlets routinely publish partisan “news” appear to be upset that the oldest continuously published daily newspaper in America, the New York Post, has blacklisted them over their fake news.

“Journalists” at The New York Times, one of the frequently (though not always) disreputable sources that have been blacklisted, were seemingly so offended they penned a nearly 100-word article lamenting the move and blaming it on the president.

CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post and The New York Times are among the news organizations that President Trump has falsely labeled ‘fake news.’ And now articles based on reporting from the four outlets are no longer welcome at Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post,” the far-left outlet reported Friday.

High-level editors at The New York Post instructed staff members this week not to use reporting from CNN, MSNBC, The Times and The Washington Post as the sole basis for any Post article.”

According to the Times’ sources, “three journalists who work” at The Post, they may still cite the NYT’s reporting as a source but not as a primary source, meaning they must use another source to confirm that The Times isn’t just spreading more bullschiff.

“Why did The Post single out these four outlets and not, say, Variety or CBS News? The three journalists said no explanation had been given, but they added that the reason did not have to be detailed,” the Times’ report continued.

CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post and The Times are seen as liberal within the Murdoch empire, which is home to Fox News and Fox Business, cable networks that were instrumental to the rise of President Trump. To publish articles based on the work of those organizations would not fit The Post’s right-leaning identity, the journalists said,” the report continued.

Fact-check: FALSE.

CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post and The New York Times are seen as liberal virtually everywhere, except for within left-wing echo chambers.

It is true though that the New  York Post openly leans to the right politically. Conversely, The Times leans heavily to the left politically, but critics would say they try desperately to hide behind an otherwise transparent facade of objectivity.

While the bias of outlets such as CNN and The Times, among many others, is very easy to detect, a perfect recent example of it is their unanimous decision to bury and ignore the Post’s since-confirmed reporting on President-elect Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

When the Post broke the news about Hunter in October, virtually every mainstream media outlet in America, including the NYT, either ignored it or sought to discredit it.

Take NPR, which accused the story of being a “pure distraction”:

The Times meanwhile reportedly tried to discredit the Post’s reporting:

Worse, when Facebook and Twitter outright banned the Post’s reporting — allegedly on orders from Biden’s camp — “journalists” from some of the very same outlets that have since been blacklisted by the Post reportedly cheered:

The only mainstream outlet that truly covered the story was Fox News which, for the record, hasn’t been blacklisted by the Post.

Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” two months after the story broke, Post columnist Sohrab Ahmari accused the mainstream media of having purposefully “circled the wagon” for one reason and one reason only: To protect Biden.

“What they did was they all circled the wagon. They all read from the same song sheet — ‘disinformation, Fox News, New York Post Murdock world slime machine,’ so so on and so forth, without actually asking, ‘Hey, is it true? Let me pick up the phone. Let me ask investigators. Let me do all the things.’ It wasn’t any of that — it was all acting in defense of one candidate two weeks before an election,” he said.

“And then they got — they mobilized their friends in the big tech world to actually suppress the story so a significant chunk of America that gets its news from Facebook and Twitter only didn’t actually learn about it in the lead up to the election. And so they did a disservice not only to the country but to what this profession, our shared profession, is supposed to stand for,” Ahmari added.
