While Newsmax White House correspondent Emerald Robinson was reporting live from the White House this Monday afternoon, a tractor was seen behind her carrying what looked at first glance to some sleuths, to be a coffin. Yes, a coffin …
But why would a coffin be at the White House?
Perhaps for when Democrat presidential nominee “sleepy” Joe Biden kicks the bucket if and after he’s inaugurated into office?

Regardless, the footage quickly went viral on social media thanks to the woman below.
😳😳👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼Omg! That is a COFFIN! That is a dam coffin! What the hell!? In front of the White House on a tractor while she is reporting! What the hell pic.twitter.com/JUjudNopBP

As the footage began spreading on social media, it triggered a debate, with some people arguing that the “coffin” was nothing more than wood.
It’s a stacked pile of 3/4” CDX plywood which is used to lay on the ground for large equipment to stand on in preparation for the event coming up.

No sorry it’s not a coffin, that would be the most ridiculous things ever especially being toted around in front of media on a forklift. It’s plywood, sheets of OSB. Coffins are carried by humans not construction equipment. 🤦♂️
— Matt Walker (@mattwalker135) January 5, 2021
No, actually it’s a stack of cut wood. Look closer with the sound off. Your eyes will “see” a coffin if that is what you are also “hearing”. It’s cut wood.
— Pauli (@RanneyDays) January 5, 2021
What ever the wood is being used for AND regardless the color that is a stack of wood. Take your finger and play the clip back & forth. See how the panels are aligned. We are just sooooo ready for something dramatic that we are jumping at every little thing.
— Susan (@skyork57) January 5, 2021
It’s a stack of wood. Simply screenshot it and look at it closeup. If that was a coffin A) would be fir a very large person like Chris Christie B) the coffin maker was on crack as the boards are not in proper alignment.
— Lulu (@luluhalls) January 5, 2021
The photo is blurry. The way the plywood is stacked created shadows which give the appearance of curved wood in the shape of a coffin This is also how the forklift operator stacked the wood in loading it prior to moving it all in one shot.

Plywood. When one side is in, the other protrudes out. pic.twitter.com/U4e3k6LXds

But others disagreed. One even claimed to have also seen a hearse and a fire truck.

I would imagine that each president has the coffin designated for them in the event of death in office.
Growing up in the funeral business this is a normal type of behavior for the wealthy anyways.

Yep, building/construction material isn’t shaped, finished & stained!
— Cynthia Oelking (@artofstyle) January 4, 2021
That is a coffin. Four days after the hearses and emergency personnel were in the background when Trump & Melanie came back early from Maralago on NYE. 🤔
— Stephanie Armentrout (@StephArm69) January 4, 2021
This was undoubtedly staged! Who might it be for?? 🤔
— ChrisW (@Christi62905655) January 4, 2021
I believe it is a coffin/wooden casket.

And then there were the jokers and pranksters who used the footage to tell funnies.

One of SLEEPY JOE`S dead voter’s coming from the White House to say they did rise from the grave and voted for him lol.
— Larry Hallett (@LarryHallett) January 5, 2021
It’s Joe’s voter base.

So which is it?
Well, who better to ask than the very woman, Emerald Robinson, who witnessed the “coffin” herself.
Drum roll, please …
Today’s joke: I’m told the object seen behind me is where they’re putting the CNN reporter who Gov. DeSantis humiliated recently. https://t.co/OmhLdGB7M1
— Emerald Robinson ✝️ (@EmeraldRobinson) January 5, 2021
See what she did there?
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis went viral himself this week when he confronted a CNN “reporter” over her garbage brand of so-called “journalism.”
Besides repeatedly interrupting and talking over the governor during a press conference Monday, CNN’s Rosa Flores also used an opportunity to ask a question to instead spew partisan talking points about Florida’s rollout of the coronavirus vaccine.
— Conservative News (@BIZPACReview) January 5, 2021
DeSantis forcefully responded to the CNN “reporter’s” partisan narrative by educating her with the truth. For this, he was later attacked by other figures at CNN, a network known for its disdain of the truth. Among the right, however, he’s now being heralded as a hero.
