A doctor who provides medical advice and guidance on NBC and MSNBC has raised eyebrows for warning Americans who receive a coronavirus vaccine that they must still abide by social distancing, mask, and travel guidelines for the time being.

Speaking on MSNBC’s Meet the Press this Tuesday, Dr. Vin Gupta responded to reports that a particular healthcare official/nurse in New Haven, Connecticut who received the first of two required doses of the coronavirus vaccine this week plans to travel as soon as she gets the second dose.

Just because you get vaccinated with that second dose does not mean you should be participating in things like traveling in the middle of an out-of-control pandemic or that you’re liberated from masks,” he said.

He claimed that these stipulations must and will apply “until all of us” — or at least a majority of Americans — “get the two-dose regimen” of the vaccine. This isn’t expected to happen til June or July, or so he claimed.

We don’t know if just getting the vaccination prevents serious illness, or does it also prevent you from getting infection entirely, meaning you can still get infected with the virus potentially and pass it on to others so really, really critical,” he continued.

Don’t let your guard down just because you got vaccinated. You still might be able to get the virus and pass it on to others so please keep that in mind.”

The remarks from Gupta provoked exasperation and gnashing of teeth from those Americans who are convinced — whether justifiably or unjustifiably — that the elites in power are purposefully using coronavirus restrictions to prime people to be controlled, i.e., to get them used to following draconian restrictions that limit their freedoms.

This fear is rooted in concerns over the so-called “Great Reset,” a plan by global elites to reset the world economy so as to ostensibly make civilization on Earth more sustainable vis-a-vis climate change. However, some people like Sky News Australia host Rowan Dean believe the “Great Reset” is rooted in something more sinister.

Dean has claimed “the plan intends to use the ‘tools of oppression’ implemented during the pandemic, such as lockdowns and forced business closures as well as other measures destroying private property rights, to combat the coronavirus to achieve climate outcomes,” as reported by Sky News Australia this past Sunday.

He’s called the plan “Orwellian” and warned people against dismissing him as “crazy old Rowan with his conspiracy theories.”

“This garbage is already deeply embedded into our state and federal governments,” he reportedly said.

Dovetailing back to Gupta’s remarks, they served as proof to people like Dean that there is indeed a goal to keep the so-called “tools of oppression” intact in perpetuity for the sake of the “Great Reset.”

In fairness to Gupta, he did specifically say that the measures will only need to be followed until a majority of the population has been vaccinated. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci has suggested the same.

During an interview with NPR earlier this week, Fauci predicted that herd immunity will be achieved by late spring or summer and shared his hope that “some form of normality” will return to the United States by Fall.

“By the time we get to the fall, we can start approaching some degree of relief where the level of infection will be so low in society we can start essentially approaching some form of normality,” he reportedly said.

It’s unclear though why only “some form of normality” — versus full normality — will return once the level of infection falls “so low” …

As for Gupta, he at least intends to practice what he preaches — unlike the myriads of Democrat politicians who’ve habitually violated their own coronavirus rules.
