Left-wing ‘protesters’ in Seattle stormed a local news station Thursday for the “crime” of reporting on their actual crimes.

The raid on local station KING’s headquarters happened hours after investigative reporter Chris Ingalls committed the “crime” of posting mugshots to Twitter of local extremists who’d been arrested for rioting during the summer.

“@K5Investigators poured over nearly 100 arrest records from the Seattle protests. Who are the people that are allegedly looting, setting fires and turning violent?” Ingalls’ tweet read.

The tweet provoked an outpouring of outrage from left-wing extremists who falsely believe journalists don’t have the right to hold them accountable.

Look (*Language warning):

The replies perfectly summed up the attitude of the extremists, which is that violent rioters are the good guys, and those who seek to challenge their criminal actions and hold them accountable are the bad guys. It’s a disturbing attitude that’s also been echoed by far-left media outlets like Portland’s Williamette Week.

A few short hours after Ingall posted the tweet, the outrage transferred from the digital world into the real world as loud, unruly and unhinged left-wing extremists showed up at KING’s headquarters to accuse the network of “doxxing” them.

“I’m trying to protect the lives of protesters because they’re going to dox them and put them in the public,” one of the extremists could be heard shouting.

“We have hate groups out here that are looking to kill and harm protesters, and they want to sit there and put the protesters’ public information. They did an investigation, and they’re doxing protesters.”

Listen:

Everything the woman said was a lie. The information KING shared was public information, and the so-called “protesters” were in fact violent rioters. Available for review here, Ingalls’ final report documented this fact in detail.

For instance, he cited the case of Kelly Jackson, a white man who tossed Molotov cocktails into police cruisers during riots that erupted in late May.

“Jackson, who was fired from his job as a plumber’s assistant at Jim Dandy Sewer and Plumbing after his arrest, lives in Edmonds. Court records show the 20-year-old was awaiting trial on three burglary cases in Snohomish county court when Seattle police and FBI investigators caught up with him,” Ingall’s report reads.

“Since 2018, county prosecutors have accused Jackson of breaking into an Edmonds ferry toll booth, a marijuana shop just outside the city, and a Stanwood animal rescue facility where he’s accused of walking off with a nearly 100-pound Rottweiler in the middle of the night.”

As a reminder, THIS is the caliber of the so-called “protesters” whom the left-wing extremists believe are the good guys …

Moreover, the litany of attacks and murders in Seattle by people tied to the riots — including the murder of a black teen and two white apartment roommates — suggests that the only ones “looking to kill and harm” are the left-wing extremists themselves.

The extremists also reportedly tried to harass KING by calling the station’s public phone number en masse.

Leading this contingent was Dylan Austin, whom The Post Millennial identified as the “creative director at Five Senses Reeling, an ‘event production company specializing in LGBTQ (and allied) artists.'”

All this comes as Seattle and other Democrat-controlled cities continue to face an endless barrage of rioting from left-wing extremists.

But much of this rioting continues to be ignored by partisan operatives in the press, thus leaving the job of reporting the truth to real journalists like Andy Ngo:

According to the extremists, Ngo is also one of the bad guys
