A bombshell intelligence report declassified by Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Tuesday says that then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton plotted in 2016 to “stir up a scandal” against then-GOP nominee Donald Trump by tying him to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In other words, Clinton allegedly concocted the whole Russian collusion delusion narrative that’s since been thoroughly debunked by the Department of Justice.

Learn more below via Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight“:

Intelligence officials learned of Clinton’s alleged plot in July 2016, after which then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed then-President Barack Hussein Obama about it.

He “briefed Obama and other senior national security officials on the intelligence, including the ‘alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services,'” the report reads.

It’s unclear what, if anything, Obama chose to do in response to learning this.

Two months later, intelligence officials forwarded an “investigative referral” to then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok concerning “Clinton’s approval of a plan concerning U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private mail server.”

It’s not clear what happened after Clinton’s alleged machinations were referred to the FBI, though according to Sen. John Hawley, it appears the bureau “did nothing.” (So did Obama, it would seem.)

“It’s a very big deal to know that the CIA referred to the FBI for investigation possible collusion between the Hillary Clinton campaign and Russia, and the FBI apparently did nothing,” he said late Tuesday evening to FNC host Tucker Carlson.

Hawley and his colleagues will have the chance to obtain answers directly from Comey when the disgraced former director testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the senator continued, as the FBI was apparently ignoring Clinton’s alleged wrongdoing, it was busy using fraudulent documents to target the now-president.

“[T]he FBI was busy lying to a federal court in order to get a wiretap on the Donald Trump campaign. I mean, this is the most unbelievable series of events: interference in a presidential election by the FBI against Donald Trump, when they had referred to them an investigation against Hillary Clinton,” he explained.

When asked by Carlson to explain why this information is just now coming out right before the pivotal 2020 election, Hawley pinned the blame on the “deep state,” which even Attorney General Bill Barr has essentially admitted does exist.

“Because the ‘deep state’ has held back this evidence, has done everything they can to sit on it. … What we have here is an unprecedented attempt by the FBI to interfere in a presidential election, and now nobody wants to talk about it, nobody wants to take any responsibility for it. There needs to be responsibility taken. Heads need to roll and there needs to be top to bottom reform at the FBI,” the senator said.

The only hope left seems to lie with U.S. Attorney John Durham, but according to unnamed sources who spoke with Fox’s Maria Bartiromo earlier this week, his findings are unlikely to be released before the election, a fact that doesn’t appear to be sitting well with Hawley.

“I can tell you, we’ve been told on the Senate Committee over and over, don’t get ahead of the Durham report, you know the Durham report is coming, don’t step on the toes of the Durham report, so it better darn well come, and it better hold some people accountable!” he remarked.

Of course, Durham’s findings will be completely useless unless they come with indictments, because otherwise the left will likely just make excuses again.

Take the latest findings. Ratcliffe’s report notes that the findings are based on “Russian intelligence.” This fact has led the media (CNN, Politico, The New York Times, Business Insider, etc.) into accusing him of promoting “Russia disinformation.”

“President Trump’s top intelligence official on Tuesday released unverified information about the 2016 campaign that appeared to be a bid to help Mr. Trump politically and was said to be disclosed over the objections of career intelligence officials who were concerned that the material could be Russian disinformation,” a Times’ report reads.

But in a followup statement issued later Tuesday, Ratcliffe pushed back on this claim, saying, “To be clear, this is not Russian disinformation and has not been assessed as such by the Intelligence Community.”

He added that he intends to brief Congress about the matter “in the coming days.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Brennan — the disgraced former FBI director who’s been shown to have had purposefully suppressed intelligence that proved that the Russians had wanted Clinton, not Trump, to win the 2016 race — has reportedly claimed the new findings amount to “blatant politicization.”

Brennan’s former deputy chief of staff reportedly also issued a statement.

“Russian interference in the election was real, intense and unprecedented in scale and scope. It was authorized personally by Putin to hurt Secretary Clinton and to promote the electoral prospects of Donald Trump. The intelligence on this is incontrovertible and the analysis unimpeachable,” he reportedly said.
