The media can hate him all they want, but it appears they cannot stop him …

On Wednesday, longtime Fox News host Sean Hannity’s long-awaited, latest nonfiction book, “Live Free or Die: America (and the World) on the Brink,” debuted on the very top of The New York Times’ best sellers list in two spots.

And as of Thursday morning, the book still maintained those spots.

The first spot was in the Times’ “Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction” list:

And the second spot was in the Times’ “Hardcover Nonfiction” list:

Not only did Hannity take the top spot, but he also reportedly “dethroned” anti-Trump zealot Mary Trump’s highly criticized book, “Too Much and Never Enough.”

His book’s description speaks of America being a “great” country that now faces a lurch “toward full-blown socialism” if Democrats win the 2020 race.

“America is great for a reason. Built on principles of freedom, rugged individualism, and self-sufficiency, no country has ever accumulated more power and wealth, abused it less, or used that power more to advance the human condition,” it states.

“And yet, as America blossomed, leftwing radicalism and resentment festered beneath the surface, threatening to undermine democracy first in the sixties and now—more insidiously than ever—in the form of social justice warriors, the deep state, and compromised institutions like academia and the mainstream media.”

Pivoting to the 2020 race, the description warns that a Democrat victory in November means a “big step toward full-blown socialism along with the economic dysfunction and social strife that are its hallmarks.”

“With radical Democrats demanding the Green New Deal, socialized medicine, abortion on demand, open borders, abolishing the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court, and an end to free speech, our great nation will be fundamentally transformed beyond recognition,” the description continues.

“Ronald Reagan once said, ‘Freedom is but one generation away from extinction,’ and his words have never rung truer. In Live Free or Die, Sean demonstrates why now is an All Hands on Deck moment to save the Republic. His solution is simple: if all you can do is vote, then vote. But if you can inform people of the truth, that’s even better. And the truth is that the future of American freedom rests on Donald Trump’s reelection.”

Speaking with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution this week about his book, Hannity warned that the upcoming race is a “tipping-point election.”

“Bernie Sanders and his socialist ideals used to be an outlier even in the Democratic party. But now his economic plan is Joe Biden’s plan. … By the time they’re done picking our pockets and consolidating power, we won’t have a free country. … This is a five-alarm fire in my heart, solar plexus and soul,” he argued.

He added that the reason he wrote the book was to expand on those subjects — such as the principles behind America’s founding — that are too complex to cover on the air.

But from the sounds of it, it seems he also wrote it to explain how President Donald Trump is the best choice for those Americans who believe in the nation’s true values.

According to AJC, Hannity “spends 37 pages touting the successes of Trump’s four years in office, from deregulation to trade to judge selection. And he included a chapter defending Trump’s coronavirus response.”

“I knew the real story. It was real. He has become the most conservative president with the boldest actions of any president. He’s a transformative figure,” he said to the paper of Trump’s rise from a wealthy businessman to the president of the United States.

Hannity’s rhetoric on-air — both on his Fox News’ program, “Hannity,” and his popular radio show, “The Sean Hannity Radio Show,” have been equally ominous.

For instance, after presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden selected Sen. Kamala Harris as his VP this week, the FNC host reportedly argued that he’d chosen her because she’s “a favorite of the radical far-left establishment.”

The problem, he added, is that her radicalism will be buried by the media.

“If you watch the other so-called news networks or read almost any paper in the country, you will never get the truth about Senator Harris. You will never hear about her radical positions and her radical record. They will lie to you day in and day out for the next 83 days and they will continue to push the lie that she is a pragmatic moderate,” he said.

“At this point, the mob, the media has absolutely zero self-respect and they don’t concern themselves with anything that recognizes truth. They are now hard-core statist partisan Democrats that will say and do anything to beat Donald Trump. It’s a cult of hatred, a psychosis.”
