They were READY …
Literally as soon as presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden announced Sen. Kamala Harris as his VP pick Tuesday, President Donald Trump came out swinging with statements, video advertisements, the whole nine yards.
In a presser, the president admitted he’d always viewed Harris as his “number one draft pick” because she was so “extraordinarily nasty” to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

And in a video advertisement, appropriately titled “Phony,” his campaign argued that voters had rejected Harris during the Democrat primary elections after realizing that she’s a “phony.”
“But not Joe Biden. He’s not that smart,” the narrator added. “Biden calls himself a ‘transition’ candidate. He is handing over the reins to Kamala as they jointly embrace the radical left. Slow Joe and Phony Kamala. Perfect together. Wrong for America.”
A statement published by Trump 2020 campaign senior adviser Katrina Pierson provided more clarification on what exactly makes Harris a phony.
“Not long ago, Kamala Harris called Joe Biden a racist and asked for an apology she never received. Clearly, Phony Kamala will abandon her own morals, as well as try to bury her record as a prosecutor, in order to appease the anti-police extremists controlling the Democrat Party,” Pierson said.
During the first Democrat primary presidential debate in June of 2019, the senator excoriated Biden over his past record on opposing integrated busing, saying that while she doesn’t believe he’s an innate racist, his record has some racist undertones.
“There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bused to school every day. That little girl was me,” she added, contrasting Biden’s allegedly racist record to her childhood as a black girl.

As for the senator’s past as a ruthless, unempathetic prosecutor, although she now portrays herself as someone in tune with suffering communities, the facts remain that she’d put over 1,500 men and women in prison for simple marijuana violations.
Continuing her statement, Pierson warned that, in her desperate bid for power, Harris has “gleefully embraced the left’s radical manifesto,” meaning that Biden’s decision to choose her as his VP proves he himself has surrendered to the mob.
“In her failed attempt at running for president, Kamala Harris gleefully embraced the left’s radical manifesto, calling for trillions of dollars in new taxes and backing Bernie Sanders’ government takeover of healthcare. She is proof that Joe Biden is an empty shell being filled with the extreme agenda of the radicals on the left,” Pierson said.
“Joe Biden is no moderate, and with Harris as his ‘political living will,’ he is surrendering control of our nation to the radical mob with promises to raise taxes, cut police funding, kill energy jobs, open our borders, and appease socialist dictators. At the ballot box, Americans will resoundingly reject the abysmal failures of Biden-Harris in favor of the America First strength of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.”
“A lot of people think it’s a dangerous choice. I think she is the most liberal person, supposedly, in the Senate. … She wants to raise taxes. She wants to get rid of your Second Amendment, no guns for protection, no nothing,” he said.
“She is very strong on the Second Amendment, getting rid of it, and very bad to the military. She wants to cut the military. She wants to cut spending for the military and the vets.”

He also expressed some shock at her being chosen, given what she’d said about Biden, but admitted that he’d secretly had her down as his “number one draft pick” because he figured — rightly so, many have argued — that he’d be the easiest to target.
“I said, he probably can’t pick her, but let’s do something on her, because people were saying it could happen. … She was my number one draft pick. She was the one that I thought would be the best for us,” he explained.
Indeed. Following Biden’s announcement Tuesday, the consensus emerged on social media that “Slow Joe” had just provided the “gift” of a lifetime to the president.
Thank you democrats for gift wrapping 2020 for Trump with your Biden pick and now putting a cute little bow on it with Harris 🤣 what a complete and unmitigated disaster you are

Been a political junkie for 40 years and don’t think I’ve seen a less likable candidate than Kamala Harris. Maybe Bob Dole in 1996. This is a gift to Trump and his team.

Biden/his handlers just gave us the gift that keeps on giving! The flaws on this woman are endless! Learned a lot just today! She is a real catch for Biden!! 😂!! Trump needs to take advantage and also don’t let them do a switcharoo on the debates either! Can’t wait for that!!

Joe Biden has picked Kamala Harris. Field day for Trump and his campaign if they stay on message.
Time to win this November.

Kamala Harris is a far-left radical with a shocking inability to connect on a personal level; she’s rehearsed and mechanical. Her record is wide open to serious attack. She adds nothing to the Biden ticket other than checking some boxes for the Twitter blue checks.

Kamala Harris’ positions:
– banning fracking
– banning plastic straws
– using executive orders to ban “assault weapons”
– phasing out private healthcare insurance;
– nearly-complete restriction of religious freedom to the private sphere.
Yes, she’s a pragmatic moderate, guys.

As a reminder, when Harris dropped out of the Democrat race in December, she was polling at an average of 3.5 percent among Democrats, according to RealClearPolitics.
