Modeling just isn’t what it used to be …

Meet Emily Ratajkowski, an actual model — the type President Donald Trump actually likes, wink wink — who reportedly weighs about 120 pounds:

She’s friends with Lena Dunham, a far-left feminist and anti-Trump zealot with a history of admitting to sexually abusing her own sister. She weighs a lot more than 120 pounds.

Ratajkowski owns a swimwear company, Inamorata, and though Dunham’s not exactly the model type (not that that matters anymore), the company chose to feature a photo of her “modeling” a bikini to its Instagram page this Friday.

Notice how she’s wearing the same top that Ratajkowski’s wearing in one of the photos featured near the top of the page.

The photo didn’t appear to attract the kind of attention that Ratajkowski had presumably been seeking. The top-voted post comments as of Saturday morning ranged from “Not this woman” with 54 votes to “Good grief” with 4 votes.

The reaction on Twitter was even more critical.

The shock, mockery and criticism were based on a couple of things.

For one, Dunham isn’t your typical model. Granted, it’s 2020 and all sorts of models exist, from “super-sized” ones to transgender ones.

Case in point:

Second, Dunham has gained a lot of weight. After the 2016 presidential election, she lost a bunch of weight because of her hatred for President Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump became president and I stopped being able to eat food. Everyone’s been asking like, ‘What have you been doing?’ And I’m like, ‘Try soul-crushing pain and devastation and hopelessness and you, too, will lose weight,'” she said at the time.

By 2018 some of the weight had returned:

On the left: 138 pounds, complimented all day and propositioned by men and on the cover of a tabloid about diets that work. Also, sick in the tissue and in the head and subsisting only on small amounts of sugar, tons of caffeine and a purse pharmacy. On the right: 162 pounds, happy joyous & free, complimented only by people that matter for reasons that matter, subsisting on a steady flow of fun/healthy snacks and apps and entrees, strong from lifting dogs and spirits. Even this OG body positivity warrior sometimes looks at the left picture longingly, until I remember the impossible pain that brought me there and onto my proverbial knees. As I type I can feel my back fat rolling up under my shoulder blades. I lean in.

Two years later, she’s now virtually unrecognizable.

Third, Dunham is a self-admitted sexual abuser. In 2015 she published a memoir, “Not That Kind of Girl,” and contained in the self-written book were passages in which she described once “opening” her sister’s vagina when she was just a toddler.

She’s also been accused of inappropriately touching Hollywood Brad Pitt and of being a “hipster racist.” And to top it off, despite portraying herself as a feminist, she was quick to rush to the defense of a male colleague in 2017 after he was accused of rape.

It’s not clear why Ratajkowski associates with someone of her caliber, though she herself isn’t a beacon of perfection either, in spite of her looks.

However, the model’s certainly a beacon of something to many men given her habit of lashing out at the president — whom she seems to hate with about as much rage as Dunham — by posting topless photos such as this one:
