President Donald Trump says Dr. Anthony Fauci is a nice guy, but he “totally disagrees” with the Obama holdover‘s insistence that schools should shut down indefinitely and not reopen in the fall.

Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo asked President Trump what he thought about Fauci’s alarmist projections that reopening schools could cause massive coronavirus outbreaks among students.

“We have to get the schools open,” Trump said. “We have to get our country open. We want to do it safely, but we also want to do it as quickly as possible. We can’t keep going on like this. You’re already having bedlam in the streets [with these indefinite, one-size-fits-all lockdowns]. You can’t do this. I totally disagree with him on schools.”

The president added: “Anthony is a good person, but I’ve disagreed with him. When I closed the border to China, he disagreed with that. And then ultimately he agreed and said I saved hundreds of thousands of lives. I think that we have to open our schools.”

During an impromptu press scrum in the White House, President Trump doubled-down on his statements, saying Fauci’s suggestion to keep schools shut down indefinitely is “not acceptable.”

President Trump said: “I was surprised by his answer actually, because it’s not an acceptable answer.”

Trump pointed out that young people are the lowest-risk group for coronavirus deaths, so it makes no sense to lock them all down while cavalierly forcing nursing homes to take COVID patients like New York’s Democrat governor Andrew Cuomo did.

“We have to open our schools,” President Trump said. “Young people are very little affected by this.”

On Wednesday, Dr. Fauci said during his Senate testimony: “The idea of having treatments available or a vaccine to facilitate the reentry of students into the fall term would be something that would be a bit of a bridge too far.”

Fauci added: “If this were a situation where you had a vaccine, that would really be the end of the issue. But even at the top speed we’re going, we don’t see a vaccine playing in the ability of individuals to get back to school this term.”

In other words, Fauci claims that if we had a vaccine, then we could reopen schools and businesses safely. However, he has said that a COVID-19 vaccine won’t be available for at least 12 to 18 months.

Keep in mind that we still have not created a vaccine for any other coronavirus (like SARS and MERS, which have been around for years).

Liberty University — a private Christian college in Virginia — reopened its campus in mid-March. At the time, the left-wing media breathlessly shrieked that Liberty was condemning its students to death.

Last week, Liberty University President Jerry Falwell revealed that the school had just closed for the semester with ZERO coronavirus deaths or infections.

Then, there’s this: Mounting evidence suggests that these abusive, extended lockdowns aren’t working.

If Fauci had it his way, the November 3 presidential election would be decided through mail-in voting — a process vulnerable to mass fraud.

Many physicians say there may be a second wave of COVID-19 because that’s how these highly-contagious viruses operate.

Fauci thinks the only way to totally prevent any new infections is to lock every single person down indefinitely. But that’s not feasible. If you lock everyone down forever, the economy will crater and millions could die from starvation, suicide, untreated diseases, etc.

Moreover, data from coronavirus epicenter New York state shows that 66% of patients were infected inside their own homes.

Meanwhile, Anthony Fauci has raised eyebrows for his nauseating “love letters” to Hillary Clinton.

In a fawning June 2012 email, Fauci gushed: “Wow. Very rarely does a speech bring me to tears, but this one did it. This was a bases-loaded home run. Please tell the Secretary [Hillary Clinton] that I love her more than ever.”

In a January 2013 email where he affectionately referred to himself as “your doctor admirer,” Dr. Fauci again professed his love for Hillary.

Do these Fauci love letters to Hillary prove anything? Maybe so, maybe not. But imagine the mass hysteria if President Trump had penned these gushing missives to a female official.
