‘Coward’ Ilhan Omar picks ill-advised fight with Nancy Mace after primary loss

Knowing how and when to pick your battles is everything in the world of politics and beyond.

Minnesota Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar seemingly has yet to learn that valuable lesson and stepped in it bigly when she picked a needless fight with outgoing GOP South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace.

After losing her primary in the South Carolina gubernatorial race, Mace took to X to offer a gracious concession statement:

A wise political foe would leave well enough alone, but Somalia-born Omar took a different approach.

Omar notably turned off the replies to her graceless dig, but that didn’t stop Mace and others from clapping back:

Ouch.

Meanwhile, Mace seems to be taking the loss in stride with a dash of good humor and changed her X profile to read: “Christian. Citadel Grad. Fmr Waffle House Waitress. Member US House. Just got my ass kicked in Governors race.”
