Lou Dobbs: ‘Trump already set a standard for presidents that most mortals won’t be able to meet’

Fox Business opinion host Lou Dobbs is an unabashed Trump supporter who said the president is a “historic” figure who is “already one of the greatest presidents” in U.S. history due to his smoking-hot economy and bold foreign-policy decisions.

Dobbs remarked: “This is a president who’s already — in my opinion, already historic — but in my opinion, he’s also already one of the greatest presidents. And with another four years in which to get more done, he has already set a standard for presidents that most mortals won’t be able to meet. He outworks them. He outthinks [them]. He is remarkably resourceful. He’s bright.”

Predictably, Dobbs was mocked by left-wing Twitter users, who called his gushing over-the-top and ridiculous.

These are the same leftists who hailed Barack Obama as a “Messiah,” “God of All Things,” and the “Second Coming” of Jesus Christ during his disastrous two-term tenure.

Unlike the left-wing “reporters” at CNN and the New York Times, Dobbs has made no secret of his support for President Trump. So his audience knows exactly where he stands.

In contrast, the “journalists” at CNN, ABC News, NBC, CBS, the New York Times, the Washington Post and other mainstream media outlets spout left-wing propaganda masquerading as “objective journalism.”

Few people point this out when they mock Lou Dobbs, but the Harvard graduate worked at CNN since its inception in 1980 — until 2011, when he joined the Fox Business Network.

During his 31-year stint at CNN, Dobbs repeatedly clashed with the left-wing network’s former president Rick Kaplan (1997-2000), a close friend of then-president Bill Clinton. At the time, Dobbs said Kaplan was “clearly partisan” and was rabidly shilling pro-Clinton stories as objective news.

“I didn’t agree with the ‘journalism’ he was doing,” Dobbs said in 2006. “In my judgment, he was clearly partisan. He was pushing Clinton stories.”

The Left constantly attacks Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs over their partisan views, but keep in mind that they are OPINION HOSTS sharing their OPINIONS with their audience. They’re not like CNN hosts Don Lemon and Fredo Cuomo, who insist they’re “objective journalists” when in reality, they are left-wing activists.

Because of its virulent anti-Trump animus, CNN’s ratings have plunged recently, especially during its nonstop coverage of the Democratic Party’s sham impeachment.

At Fox Business Network, Dobbs is open about his support for President Trump, so you can’t accuse him of being a hypocrite. And he points out that his opinions are opinions. So his audience knows exactly where he stands.

In February 2019, Dobbs blasted spineless Republicans as “gutless wonders” who refuse to do anything to protect the leader of their party — and more importantly — a duly-elected president.

“Why is the establishment in Washington D.C. not screaming for the arrest of Andrew McCabe and all of his cohorts in the DOJ and FBI?” Dobbs asked.

“Why the hell wasn’t the Republican Party standing up and demanding his arrest? They either follow President Trump or they are going to be on the scrapheap of history.”

Mounting evidence suggests that Obama holdovers at the highest levels of the FBI and the Department of Justice conspired to overthrow President Trump after failing to derail his 2016 presidential election.

Dobbs torched the anti-American Left and the “corrupt” Obama holdovers in the top ranks of the FBI, saying “They choose to hate America.”
