A shocking exchange took place on the Judge Jeanine Pirro show with Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and left-leaning political commentator Chris Hahn about the realities of President Donald Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The shouting match specifically concerned the media- and Democrat-peddled lie that when the president had asked Zelensky for a favor, he’d been referring to his call for the Ukrainian president to investigate 2020 contender former Vice President Joe Biden’s alleged corruption.
The brawl erupted when Kirk fired this shot: “It’s disgusting when people like you advance these falsehoods … it’s disgusting because this president did nothing wrong … only advance diplomacy for an ally of this country …”
Hahn exploded over that assertion: “What is going on here? This is shadow diplomacy … you need to get on the right side of history …”
With that, the fireworks only just got started.

When asked if Adam Schiff’s self-dubbed “parody” of the president’s Ukraine phone call was appropriate, Hahn tap-danced around the question.
“You know, some people exaggerate for effect,” Hahn said. “I don’t think he needed to do that. I think he probably could have just read from the transcript, I think that was bad enough. The president sitting in the Oval Office asking a leader of another country to investigate his political opponent. That is unprecedented and needs to be investigated, and the Congress will get to the bottom of it, and the president will be impeached-”
Judge Jeanine attempted to nail Hahn down on the question, but the “aggressive progressive” continued to worm his way around it. Growing tired of his unwillingness to give a simple “yes or no” answer, she called on Kirk.
“First of all Chris, there was nothing wrong with the phone call the president had with the Ukrainian President,” Kirk affirmed. “Nothing at all whatsoever. The ‘favor’ that is being talked about was to try to stop foreign meddling into our elections. Number two, you wanna talk about back-channeling with Ukraine? Three Democrat US senators in May — three Democrat US senators in May asked Ukraine to investigate a political opponent of theirs. The president of the United States did not ask Ukraine — at all — to investigate Joe Biden. In fact, if you read the transcript-”
Hahn attempted to out-shout Kirk, and Judge Jeanine had to rein him in and continued to do so several times throughout the segment.
Hahn then demanded that Kirk “get on the right side of history” by opposing President Trump. Kirk didn’t back down from his beliefs.
“The favor that is being talked — he was asking Ukraine to stop meddling into our elections,” Kirk tried to explain to Hahn. “Didn’t we just have a three-year, taxpayer-funded investigation called the Mueller investigation to try to stop foreign meddling. So when our president asks Ukraine to stop meddling into our elections, you say that’s a problem?”
After another tongue-lashing from Pirro about interrupting other guests, Hahn replied by talking trash and trying to change the subject.
“Well, Charlie’s one of the better spin doctors in America and he still can’t answer why the State Department was working with the outside attorney of the president, Rudy Giuliani, to gather dirt on Joe Biden,” Hahn shouted.
Kirk pointed out that perhaps Giuliani was involved for diplomatic reasons that have not been made public, but Hahn wasn’t having it, yelling “Charlie, please” in exasperation as the conservative suggested that there is something in the world the progressive doesn’t know. Pirro had enough of the bickering and shut down the segment, but not before siding with Kirk and Trump.
“You know what Chris, if you don’t stop interrupting Chris, I’m not gonna have you on the show again,” she threatened. “That’s it. That’s it! You gotta let the guy talk. You don’t agree. The bottom line is maybe Rudy Giuliani knew a little bit more about the basis of this stuff having represented the president. And the bottom line is they don’t want anymore meddling. And we gotta stop it. Because you know who had their fingers on the scale last time? Not the Russians, the FBI and the deep state. That’s all I want to say.”
It is unclear whether Judge Jeanine will follow through with her threat to ax Hahn from her Rolodex of regular guests.
