Self-proclaimed transgender woman Caitlyn Jenner faced brutal mockery during and after Comedy Central’s recent weekend roast of Hollywood actor, comedian and anti-Trump zealot Alec Baldwin.
Conversely, Jenner managed to land only one good joke on the night’s roastee: “Back when I was Bruce, we were brothers. That’s another brother you’ll never talk to again,” he said, mocking Baldwin over his notoriously bad family relationships.
As for Jenner, the mockery aimed at him began from the onset of the roast, with roast master Sean Hayes, a comedian made famous for his role in NBC’S anti-Trump comedy sitcom “Will & Grace,” introducing Jenner by saying, “I can’t believe you’re here, wow. You’ve got balls, girl.”
The joke was based on the fact that Jenner is a biological male, not a biological woman.

Roaster Caroline Rhea, a Canadian comedian made famous for her role in ABC’s classic sitcom “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” continued the mockery with another stinging joke.
“Let’s face it. No one wants to be here,” she said. “The person who went to the greatest lengths to not show up tonight was Bruce Jenner.”
Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete Bruce Jenner is Caitlyn Jenner’s real identity.
Even the roastee took a shot at Jenner, with Baldwin saying, “You look like a real doll that’s been [bleeped] a little too close to the fireplace.”
The “transgender woman” also faced mockery for being a proud supporter of President Donald Trump.
“You goddamn hypocrite — you’re, like, against gay marriage, [but] you voted for Trump. You’re like the Auntie Tom of the trans community,” comedian Chris Redd of “Saturday Night Live” quipped.
Trump is considered to be “anti-transgender,” primarily because of his decision to ban transgender “men” and “women” — both of whom are reportedly at increased risk of suffering from debilitating depression and anxiety — from serving in the U.S. military.
During Jenner’s own time at the roasting podium, he managed to only further exacerbate the mockery by delivering a milquetoast performance that was ladled with weak jokes and moral preening.
“Some of you hate me because I’m me,” he said. “Some of you hate me because of the things I may have said in the past. Hey, I’m not perfect. I’m a person trying to figure out my life like everyone else.”
“All I want is for future generations of transgender people to know that if I’m strong enough to sit up here and be ridiculed all night, that you can handle everything. If you have a problem with that, then you can suck my [male genitals], if you can find it!”

His “roast” appeared to rub many the wrong way because his critics kvetched, it seemed self-centered and preachy, not to mention extraordinarily unfunny.
“Caitlyn doesn’t understand what a roast is … you roast others not just talk about yourself,” one critic opined.
“[E]very joke was about her transition. that’s not funny, it’s not creative, it’s using your identity as a trope,” another added, aiming his criticism at Jenner’s obsession with his so-called “gender identity.”

We get it. You lut him on stage for trans awareness. He wasn’t funny. Everyone looked forced to smile and clap to not look “homophobic”

I give her credit for doing it but it was not funny and every single joke was about her and self promotion. But that’s how all the Jenner Kards roll I suppose. She was much funnier on @SouthPark pic.twitter.com/lxCmyOkkYt

The latter remark about “how all the Jenner Kards roll” was based on the fact that Jenner’s family is teeming with attention-seeking socialites, most notably Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
In fact, Jenner referenced both of them during his time at the podium.
“All of you are making these silly comments and jokes about how I kind of cut it off,” he said, referring to his now-removed male genitalia. “Let me remind you: It made Kylie Jenner, the youngest self-made billionaire in history. It made Kendall Jenner, the highest-paid model
in the world.”
“I raised ten children. I currently — well, I’m coming on 20 grandchildren. I didn’t cut it off,
I just retired it. It was done!”
