President Donald Trump says the wimpiness of former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan is why the Democrats (who now control the House of Representatives) feel so emboldened to continue obstructing his America-First agenda.
Ryan’s feeble leadership is why:
- Trump has had trouble getting wall funding.
- The fruitless “Russia collusion” witch hunt continues.
- Democrats gleefully push for socialism and open borders.
- Trump is in danger of being impeached despite having committed no impeachable offenses.
Ryan Refused to Let GOP Subpoena Democrats
But Paul Ryan — who was then Speaker — blocked their moves to subpoena Democrats who should have been investigated.

President Trump says this is because Democrats always play dirty, while weak RINOs like Ryan let the Left trample all over them.
“Paul Ryan wouldn’t give the right to have any subpoenas. Meadows and Jordan and all these guys — they wanted to go tougher — but they weren’t allowed to by leadership.
It’s so terrible what’s happening. The Left plays a tougher game. I actually think that the people on the right are tougher, but they don’t play it tougher.
But the left plays it ‘cuter’ and tougher. Like with all the nonsense that they do in Congress…with all this invest[igations]. They do things that are nasty. Republicans never played this.”
Don Jr: Paul Ryan Is a Loser
Paul Ryan — a failed vice presidential candidate who did not run for re-election in November 2018 — tried to walk back his remarks from earlier this week, when he said: “The person who defines that race is going to win the race. If this is about Donald Trump and his personality, he isn’t going to win it.”
Donald Trump Jr. responded by trashing Ryan on Twitter: “The speaker who lied to us and didn’t deliver Wall funding (and then lost the House) gives advice on winning.”
Pretty rich. Mitt Romney’s failed 2012 running mate, the speaker who lied to us and didn't deliver Wall funding (and then lost the house) gives advice on winning.

Ryan then took to Twitter to do damage control on his anti-Trump remarks amid volcanic backlash from Republicans.
To be clear, GOP wins elections when they’re about ideas not when they’re personality contests like Dems & media want. We’re clearly better off because of @RealDonaldTrump. His record of accomplishment is why he’ll win re-election especially when compared to Dems’ leftward lurch.

Dobbs: Establishment Republicans Are ‘Gutless’
Fox Business host Lou Dobbs has repeatedly torched Paul Ryan’s feckless leadership.
Dobbs also trashed establishment Republicans as “gutless wonders” for caving to leftist bullying and abandoning the leader of their party when he’s being viciously attacked from all sides (by the Democrat Party, the media, Hollywood, and by RINOs).
“Why is the establishment in Washington D.C. not screaming for the arrest of Andrew McCabe and all of his co-horts in the DOJ and FBI? Why the hell wasn’t the Republican Party standing up and demanding his arrest?
They either follow President Trump or they are going to be on the scrapheap of history.”

This is the future Democrats want for the United States. Patriots, wake up!
Democrat Congressman Andre Carson projects that the US Congress will have 30 to 35 Muslim representatives by 2030.
He fantasizes that the US President, Vice President, and Speaker of the House will all be Muslim in a few short years. https://t.co/MizRVILnZv
