‘Want them!’ Trump lashes out after news of Page and Strzok’s 19,000 missing/wiped clean text messages

In a series of tweets posted Sunday morning, President Donald Trump bashed the demonstrably left-wing media for refusing to cover what he believes to be the true scandal in Washington, D.C.

“Wow, 19,000 Texts between Lisa Page and her lover, Peter S of the FBI, in charge of the Russia Hoax, were just reported as being wiped clean and gone,” Such a big story that will never be covered by the Fake News. Witch Hunt!” he wrote in his first tweet.

The tweet referenced disgraced former FBI special agent Peter Strzok and disgraced former FBI attorney Lisa Page. The two served on special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian collusion til it was discovered they’d exchanged anti-Trump text messages.

One of those messages alluded to an “insurance policy” against Trump’s election. The exact meaning of this “insurance policy” remains unclear because thousands of the romantically involved duo’s text messages seemingly disappeared into thin air.

But according to a report last Wednesday by the Office of the Inspector General, the messages disappeared because Mueller’s office had purposefully reset Strzok and Page’s government-issued phones after they were booted from his investigation.

Like many other conservatives, the president appears to believe Mueller’s team reset the duo’s phones for nefarious purposes. What many find especially disturbing is the timing aspect. The only text messages that were deleted were those from Dec. 13, 2016, to May 17, 2017.

And it just so happens that May 17 was the very exact day that Mueller was appointed special counsel by scandal-plagued Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein.

Yet despite these striking coincidences, this potential scandal has received limited media coverage.

Look at the rest of the president’s tweets below:

In one tweet he appeared to accuse the media of colluding the Democrat Party. While this theory may sound bizarre to those on the far-left — to whom Trump is just a “right wing nut job” — some moderately inclined liberals share the president’s outlook, including feminist Camille Paglia.

“Democrats are doing this in collusion with the media obviously, because they just want to create chaos,” she said last year after disgraced former FBI Director James Comey’s termination.

“They want to completely obliterate any sense that the Trump administration is making any progress on anything,” she added, taking issue with the media’s incessant accusations against Trump, whom at the time they accused of obstruction of justice.

While the media have covered the OIG’s report, they’ve made certain to downplay the most relevant parts and instead focus their readers’ attention on other conclusions.

“DOJ watchdog: No clear ‘pattern’ in missing Strzok, Page texts,” the headline at The Hill reads.

“A federal watchdog has found no ‘discernible patterns’ regarding the content of text messages exchanged between former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that were not collected and maintained by the bureau’s systems, according to a new report,” the outlet reported.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Not until the final few paragraphs did the left-wing outlet mention that their phones had been reset.

It’s no wonder so many have rushed to Twitter to echo the president’s exasperation and praise Trump for being one of the lone voices in the public limelight to fight back.
