Melania Trump’s spokesperson gave a statement on LeBron James after Trump’s ‘dumb and dumber’ tweet

First Lady Melania Trump’s spokesperson graciously commended LeBron James for opening a school in his home state of Ohio amid uproar over the NBA star’s feud with President Donald Trump.

“It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today,” Melania’s rep Stephanie Grisham said in a statement.

LeBron James attacked President Trump after being baited by CNN’s Don Lemon. First Lady Melania responded graciously.

The brouhaha erupted after CNN host Don Lemon goaded LeBron into slamming President Trump in a recent interview.

James fell for the bait and accused Trump of using sports “to divide us” (video below).

“What I’ve noticed over the last few months is that he’s kind of used sports to kind of divide us,” LeBron said, presumably referring to Trump’s insistence that NFL players respect the American flag and stand for the national anthem.

President Trump never lets an unprovoked personal attack go unanswered, so he responded by calling Lemon the “dumbest man on television” and suggested that Don’s epic stupidity made LeBron look smart by comparison.

Predictably, liberals immediately race-baited and accused Trump of making a racial diss despite the fact that he never mentioned race in his tweet. He was lashing out after being attacked.

As BizPac Review previously reported, LeBron initiated his feud with Trump in 2017 by calling him a “bum.

Don Lemon was triggered by Trump’s comments and clapped back.

“Who’s the real dummy?’ Lemon tweeted. “A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?”

Reality check for Don: Your hero Barack Obama put illegal immigrant kids in cages.

Lemon’s CNN colleague Jake Tapper leaped to his defense with some statistics.

Vice president Mike Pence dropped the mother-of-all statistics to silence leftist anti-Trumpers: 3.8 million jobs created since November 2016. Boom.

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra clapped back at Lemon by pointing out that “CNN’s Don Lemon was literally named by the Columbia Journalism Review as one of the worst journalists in media.”

Amid the uproar, Michael Jordan issued a brief statement praising James: “I support LJ. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.”

While liberals on Twitter gleefully claimed Jordan had slammed President Trump with his statement, he did no such thing. He merely praised LeBron for helping poor children in his home state of Ohio.

After all, charity begins at home. Ironically, the liberal media aren’t trashing LeBron for supporting his own community instead of using his millions to help illegal aliens.

Naturally, grievance-mongering leftists like CNN contributor Marc Lamont Hill trashed Michael Jordan for not attacking Trump.

LeBron James did an admirable thing by helping the underprivileged community in his hometown of Ohio.

While he has slammed President Trump for being divisive, keep in mind that in 2017, LeBron called the 63 million Americans who voted for President Trump “uneducated.”

Reality check.
