Trump stops motorcade to personally thank firefighters in touching viral video

President Trump paid tribute to the hard-working members of law enforcement by stopping his motorcade to personally thank firefighters as he was on his way back to Washington, D.C., from Bethpage, New York.

The touching incident occurred on May 23, but the video went viral just this weekend. In the video, President Trump emerges from his limousine clapping. He thanks the firefighters, shakes their hands, and poses for selfies. “Thank you, thank you,” Trump says as excited firefighters eagerly surround him.

“That’s awesome!” one firefighter is heard saying in the YouTube video posted by Viral Hog.

President Trump was leaving Bethpage, New York, that day following a forum on illegal immigration, where he paid tribute to families whose loved ones were murdered by MS-13 gang members.  Long Island is a hotbed for MS-13 gangs, whose motto is “Kill, Rape, and Control.”

Under Trump, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has cracked down and arrested numerous violent MS-13 thugs.

While Trump is trying to make America safe, Democrats are busy obstructing him by demanding the abolition of ICE. Shockingly, the liberal media sided with MS-13 over President Trump.

At the forum on illegal immigration, Trump promised the grieving families that he will honor the memories of their loved ones by stamping out MS-13:

“We’re especially moved today to be joined by families who have suffered unthinkable heartbreak at the hands of the MS-13 gangs.

We are praying for these families with us today, and we pledge to honor the memory of those you lost with action and resolve — and I’ll just add another word — with great success. Thank you very much for being here. They will not have passed in vain, that I can tell you.”

President Trump has been relentlessly attacked by the liberal media over every little thing he does or says, but his supporters have remained solidly behind the man they elected. And Trump has repeatedly said that he’s grateful and honored by their support.

As BizPac Review previously reported, in December 2016, the billionaire jumped on a plane late in the evening to speak at a “thank-you” rally for Florida supporters after attending countless meetings earlier that day.

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs observed that he has rarely seen a president who worked so hard. “He will not be outworked by anybody,” Dobbs said. “He wasn’t outworked in the primaries or in the general election.”

President Trump vowed to work hard for the American people before he got elected.

And he has made good on those promises by maintaining a breakneck work schedule few people can keep up with.

To draw a contrast, the day before Election Day in 2016, Trump held 7 rallies in 5 states. The final one — in Michigan — started at midnight on November 8, 2016, and went past 1:30 a.m.

In contrast, Hillary Clinton rarely held a rally on consecutive days and took most of August 2016 off from campaigning.

Because of his hard work and patriotism, even Never-Trumpers have converted into Trump supporters.
