MSNBC host Brian Williams made a big blunder in his coverage of President Trump’s announcement from the White House on Friday regarding the missile strike on Syria.
Williams, with the famous reputation of being a habitual liar, opened himself up for a public mockfest.

Williams “reported” on the administration’s strike and president’s remarks by saying, “It all started, nine o’clock Eastern time, with about a five-minute address by President Obama.”
Wait, what?
Social media had a field day with his “fake news“:

He got shook up because he was having flash backs of being shot at in a helicopter.

How could he be confused, BO drew a red line then said nevermind.

They had a point. Not only did Obama cowardly back down after he drew a red line on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s use of chemical weapons, but he later whined about it.
“As president, I didn’t always have the tools that I want to effect those kinds of changes, but at least we tried,” he moaned last year.
Instead of ever taking Assad to task for his deplorable attacks on his own citizens, Obama settled with a peace agreement whereby Syrian agreed to remove its stockpile of chemical weapons.
“It turns out we are getting chemical weapons out of Syria without initiating a strike,” Obama proudly announced in 2013.
But the agreement was as phony as Obama’s red line threat, as evidenced by what occurred four years later: Assad again used chemical weapons on his people.
Congratulations to our great military men and women for representing the United States, and the world, so well in the Syria attack.

And when Assad doubled down on his chemical attacks this past week, the president again hit back with fury, ordering a flurry of “precision strikes” on the Syrian facilities responsible for the production and deployment of the dictator’s weapons.
Four years ago Williams lost his coveted network anchor chair position with NBC after reports surfaced that he had embellished a story about being shot down in Iraq while reporting from a helicopter.
Truth is clearly something Williams has a very tenuous grasp on. Sad.
