New Miss World answered question about ‘highest paid profession’ perfectly, now she wears the crown!

The Miss World crown went to a stunning beauty from India and one answer in particular might have secured it for her.

Manushi Chhillar won the title in Sanya, China on Saturday, marking the first time since Priyanka Chopra won in 2000 that India has held the crown.

Chhillar is way more than a pretty face as the 20-year-old is a medical student who plans to be a cardiac surgeon and is a trained classical dancer, according to her Miss World bio.

She was born into a family of doctors and studied at the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat, The Quint reported.

Chhillar’s sense of what’s important in life was evident when she was asked which profession should be the highest paid.

You might believe a medical student in a family of doctors would say that a doctor should be the highest paid profession, but that is not what she said.

“I think a mother deserves the highest respect and when you talk about salary it’s not always about cash but I feel it’s the love and respect that you give to someone. My mother has always been the biggest inspiration in my life,” she said. “All mothers sacrifice so much for their kids. So, I think it is the job of a mother that deserves the highest salary.”
