As scandal after scandal uncovers the seedy side of Hollywood, it is nice to see that there are some quality people that use their fame and fortune to benefit others.
Matthew McConaughey is one of those people.
The “Magic Mike” actor spent his 48th birthday working hard to bring happiness to families, E! News reported.
The actor, who is a spokesman for Wild Turkey Bourbon, drove around Lawrenceburg, Kentucky giving away donated frozen Butterball Turkeys as part of Wild Turkey Bourbon’s early Thanksgiving initiative.
In a video shared on Facebook, McConaughey visited a group of women who call themselves the “hot mamas.”
“Hot mamas?” he said. “That’s my nickname for my wife. I can’t call ya’ll that.”
“It’s a sexy man carrying a turkey!” one woman shouted.

One of the women teased that she wanted him to bring some Wild Turkey Bourbon.
“No, I did not bring Wild Turkey. There’s a Wild Turkey hidden inside the turkey,” he quipped back.
McConaughey also stopped by the distillery, where volunteers were tasked with giving away 4,500 turkeys, to give them a pep talk.
“Thanksgiving, gratitude, we believe in our family that the more you’re thankful for, the more that you show gratification, the more that you’re gonna create in your life to be thankful for,” he said in a separate video. “I think it’s kinda scientific and here’s kind of living proof of it right here this morning.”
“Let’s go make some people happy and put some smiles on some faces, deliver some turkeys, there’s some people that are gonna be happy to get ’em,” the actor said. “Just keep livin’, thanks for being here.”
