First lady Melania Trump’s elegance and style has inspired women all around the world. But perhaps none as much as one Texas mom who took her admiration to the extreme.
Claudia Sierra, 42, appeared on Fox News’ “Watters World” on Saturday and told guest host Kennedy about the nine plastic surgery procedures she had to look like the first lady.
“It’s quite an extreme route to take to have nine plastic surgeries to look like someone else,” Kennedy said as she asked if thee were any mental issues that led to her decision.
“My mental state is fine,” Sierra said. “I look up to the first lady for her grace and elegance. She inspired me. That’s why I chose to look like her.”
“Melania Trump is an inspiration for all of us,” her plastic surgeon, Dr. Franklin Rose, said.
Sierra is a breast cancer survivor who was partly motivated by her struggle to get the plastic surgeries.
Another motivation was an experience she had on a date last year , when the man she was with asked to see her driver’s license because he thought she looked older than her age, at the time, of 41, the New York Daily News reported.
“That was the straw that broke the camel’s back,” she told the News. “I was 41 years old and I decided that I have to change everything about me.”
She called Dr. Rose that following Monday and told him “I want to feel like a woman,” she said.
What followed was procedures for breast reconstructions, a nose job, a Brazilian buttock lift, liposuction, eyelid lift, Botox, fillers, injectable treatments and a nose job totalling between $50,000 – $70,000, the News reported.
She told Kennedy she feels “reborn” and she would love a chance to meet Mrs. Trump.
