Pregnant or not, a North Carolina woman had no intentions of being a victim of a purse snatching, so the real-life wonder woman chased the crook down and hit him with her vehicle.
…and ended up getting charged along with the man.
The incident took place Wednesday at an Ashville Wal-Mart, where witnesses say a man identified as Robert Raines was seen rummaging through Christine Braswell’s SUV, according to WLOS News 13.

When Braswell confronted Raines, he took off running with the pregnant 26-year-old woman in hot pursuit, first on foot and then in her vehicle.
“He was with my purse and he took off and I took off after him,” she told News 13. “Me being five months pregnant, I chased a little ways then come back, jumped in the car, threw it in gear and come across the curb and ran him over. I was not going to let him get away with it. It’s not right, it’s not fair.”

Fair or not, she would be charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon — Raines faces charges of felony breaking and entering, larceny and misdemeanor damage to property News 13 reported.
