Ann Coulter riles fans & dials up feud with Sean Hannity over Trump loyalty, but he comes back swinging

Coulter crack corn, and Sean don’t care.

Conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter, who once said she’d support President Donald Trump even if he performed abortions in the White House, has been having misgivings lately — and has escalated her disagreement with Fox News host Sean Hannity on that very issue.

Coulter criticized the president in her latest column for apparently “turning his White House over … to the very type of liberal Democrats he railed against on the campaign trail,” likening it to “voluntarily getting an AIDS transfusion.”

At issue was the danger of Trump coming under the influence of Wall Street and thus losing the support of the people who ultimately elected him — the “working-class … which went for Obama twice, but then flipped to Trump.”

Coulter listed as examples three of the president’s closest advisors, including chief economic adviser Gary Cohn, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and deputy national security adviser Dina Powell — Goldman Sachs alumni all.

And she took on Hannity’s unconditional Trump-love in the same piece, opining that the Fox News personality “would endorse communism if Trump decided to implement the policies of ‘The Communist Manifesto.'”

Coulter also cited the Republican’s American Health Care Act, which has the president’s blessing, as an example that the administration is heading into that very direction.

“On his show last Thursday, he tried to get me to defend Trump’s ‘rich person’ remarks about Cohn. I wish you could see the segment …,” Coulter said, stating that the segment ran out of time.

“With the zealotry of those who came late to the Trump party, Hannity fully endorsed Trump’s faith in Cohn, adding, ‘I never got a job from a poor man!” she said.

“He’s also never gotten a job from Goldman Sachs,” Coulter added. “Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross created jobs. Donald Trump created jobs. Goldman Sachs doesn’t create jobs. The geniuses of Goldman specialize in generating obscene salaries for themselves while helping send American jobs abroad.”

Hannity dismissed the criticism like water off a duck’s back. He tweeted:

Response from others was mixed. Some — especially her longtime fans — expressed disappointment and even anger.

But others said there was a lot of truth in her column, and chided others for not recognizing it.

And as for her assessment of Hannity’s unconditional loyalty to the president, one said:

Shepard Smith runs to the defense of CNN, but doesn’t go nearly as far as Scarborough

“As to rich people being ‘smart,'” Coulter closed her column. “Kim Kardashian is rich. Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman is rich. Bernie Madoff was rich — as he surely tells the 300-pound, face-tattooed gangsters he now showers with. No one wants any of them advising Trump, either.”
