Jealous much? CNN’s Stelter does entire segment about ‘Fox & Friends,’ calls it ‘Trump’s safe space’

Looks like CNN is suffering from an acute case of the green-eyed monster.

On Sunday’s version of Reliable Sources, host CNN’s Brian Stelter lit into one of Fox News’ most popular shows, Fox & Friends, essentially calling it a propaganda distributor for the Trump administration.

“What would a daily infomercial for the Trump presidency look like? Actually, we don’t have to wonder. We have the answer right in front of us. It’s called Fox & Friends,” Stelter said before nothing the interviews the president has given to the program and calling it “Trump’s safe space.”

“The show is about showering Trump with positive attention and burying his enemies with negative attention,” Stelter added before playing a few pro-Trump clips from the show, particularly where guests “bashed” the media.

“The bottom line, you might look at this and see propaganda from Fox. I prefer to think of it as an infomercial. Fox & Friends is selling a product. In the guise of a news talk show like QVC or HSN. It’s a free country. Viewers should recognize what product Fox is selling.”

“It’s all about optimism for Trump, resentment about his opponents,” Stelter said, adding. “I wonder what they would do without the ‘liberal’ (finger quotes) media? Who knows?”

Even if Stelter’s analysis were correct, it’s more than made up for by the fact that every other mainstream network is vehemently anti-Trump. And yet, it’s also possible that non-biased reporting LOOKS pro-Trump to the liberal observer simply because they are so used to the anti-Trump bias.

And of course, what’s good for the goose…
