Sheriff Clarke fires preemptive strike against journalist accusing him of plagiarism

Sheriff David Clarke got out ahead of a report accusing him of plagiarizing parts of his master’s degree thesis.

The report was teased by the journalist who wrote the story, Andrew Kaczynski, and it couldn’t come at a worse time for Clark, who just accepted a position with the Department of Homeland Security.

It comes at a time when an investigation is underway after a prisoner in one of his jails died of dehydration.

The Naval Postgraduate School quickly removed Clarke’s thesis.

For some, the plagiarism accusations were another attempt to do a hit job on a Trump administration member.

Others took it as an opportunity to attack President Donald Trump and his administration.

Still others, even some who don’t like President Trump, found the story ridiculous.
