The Friday Failing New York Times revelation that President Trump called former F.B.I. Director James Comey a “nut job” to Russian officials visiting the Oval Office was supposed to be a part of the day’s manufactured media Trump controversy (or three, or however many they’re serving these days).
Instead, it just shows the president being perhaps a bit too brutally honest, but honest nonetheless.

According to the report, a document summarizing the Oval Office meeting and read to the Times by a U.S. official records Trump as saying, “I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job.”
Maybe it was crude for Trump to say that out loud, but honestly, what other conclusion could we come to about Mr. Comey?
Consider the evidence…

That’s right, when James Comey released or caused to be released a memo purportedly proving or at least alleging that President Trump committed the severe crime of obstruction of justice AFTER Comey himself testified several months after the alleged obstruction that there was indeed NO obstruction, how could a rational person define such behavior as coming from anyone but a nut job?
Additionally, why would Comey release or cause to be released such a memo when he would have been his legal duty to report the “crime” right when it happened, not three months later after he gets fired? In fact, to not do so, were it an actual crime, could land the former F.B.I. director in jail.

Sounds kinda nut-jobby to me…
Then, of course, there’s the whole Hillary Clinton email scandal, where Comey faced the nation and listed her numerous crimes before proceeding to let her off the hook because she didn’t intend to break any laws, or something.
Now if that’s not the actions of a total nut job, I don’t know what is.
James Comey said that Hillary Clinton did wrong, but it's OK because she didn't intend to do it.

So, from the man who gave us Low Energy Jeb, Lyin’ Ted and Crooked Hillary, the man who is second to none at catchy nicknames, comes Nut Job Comey.
I don't always call people names, but when I do, it's fully earned! 🇺🇸

Of course, it’s possible that this could be true as well (from the parody Spicer account)…
If the President called Comey anything, it was way worse than nut job. Fake news
