With no facts Dems, media RUN WILD with story GOP celebrated AHCA with cases of Bud Light at WH

Democrats, and their friends in the mainstream media, set out to push a narrative after the House voted to pass the American Health Care Act, and they weren’t about to let facts get in their way.

Alexandra Jaffe, a writer for Vice News said she spotted a truck filled with beer at the Capitol following the vote on Thursday.

Jaffe did not say it was for Republicans but that didn’t prevent the media, and even House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, from asserting it was for the GOP to celebrate their success.

“Right now, the Republicans are having a beer party to celebrate one of the biggest transfers of wealth from working families to the richest people in our country,” Pelosi said during a press conference that followed the vote.

“Republicans headed to the White House to celebrate the victory with President Donald Trump in the Rose Garden. Republican lawmakers even had a “case of beer standing by” to celebrate at the Capitol,” CBS News reported on its website and in a now deleted tweet.

“Republicans plan massive beer bash as they take healthcare away from women, the disabled and the poor,” blared the headline on Raw Story.

“Cases of beer were rolled into the Capitol for an after-vote party that could go on for a while, as the House will be in recess for the next two weeks,” Newsweek reported.

Reporters, and others, on social media got in on the act.

It’s a wonder President Donald Trump calls CNN and MSNBC fake news.

House Speaker Paul Ryan’s spokesman Michael Shapiro angrily denied the accusations.

And Jaffe later reported that the beer was not for the GOP.

But why wait for facts when you have a narrative?

While not certain where the beer is heading, the White House has traditionally held Cinco de Mayo parties. This year, Dems feigned outrage at the thought, even though President Trump said he would not be attending.
