On Wednesday President Donald Trump praised Fox News host Bill O’Reilly as “a good person” despite mounting sexual harassment allegations.
When speaking to reporters during a photo-op in the Oval Office with King Abdullah II of Jordan the the president called Susan Rice a criminal and lambasted the media for ignoring the story.
But he singled out Fox News and O’Reilly as the exceptions to the rule and praised the embattled anchor.
NOW ‘Chuckie’ Schumer wants to make a deal on SCOTUS; hilarity ensues on Twitter!
“I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person,” President Trump told reporters, the New York Times reported.
He said he believes the fact that O’Reilly settled lawsuits against several women that accused him of sexual harassment is what caused his problems.
Trump’s advice; he should have “taken it all the way.”
“I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally I think he shouldn’t have settled,” the president said. “Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”
