As the date for the meeting of the Electoral College nears, at least one of its members has had it with Hollywood flacks urging them to vote for someone other than President-elect Donald Trump.

Elector Brian Fairbrother, one of 16 Republican electors representing Michigan, appeared on “Fox & Friends” and said that despite the wailing coming from Hollywood’s elite, he intends to “support Donald Trump” when they meet Monday.
“I’m truly surprised that so many celebrities feel that they are smarter than the American people,” he told host Brian Kilmeade.
Fairbrother, who founded ElectorsForTrump.com, also indicated that he received 250 letters urging him to vote for someone other than Trump the day before his appearance.
Folks on social media weren’t so surprised at Hollywood’s reaction.

“M*A*S*H’s Mike Farrell, one of the actors depicted in the video urging electors to change their vote, tried to support his decision to Fox News host Tucker Carlson. He failed miserably.
Another Michigan elector, Harley-riding Jim Rhoades, told Fox Business Network host Neil Cavuto that the campaign to get Republican Electoral College members to change their vote was “pure crap.”
