Trump calls for the American people to deliver justice to Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump concluded that because of FBI Director James Comey‘s decision to not recommend charges be brought against Hillary Clinton, there’s but one court to decide the case against her — the court of public opinion.

The jury in that court is the American electorate, and it will be deliberating on Tuesday in polling places across the country.

Speaking to supporters in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights, the Republican presidential nominee concluded that “Hillary Clinton is guilty. She knows it. The FBI knows it. The people know it.”

And because the people know it, they should convict her in the voting booth.

“And now, it’s up to the American people to deliver justice at the ballot box on Nov. 8.”

Speaking earlier Sunday in Minneapolis, he said that Clinton “will be under investigation for a long, long time, likely concluding in a criminal trial,” but that for the moment she’s being “protected by a rigged system.”

Supporters at both venues responded with chants of “Lock her top!”

Michigan has consistently voted for the Democratic candidate in every presidential election since 1992, but Trump believes he can shatter that 24-year streak on Tuesday. That prospect has the Clinton camp more than a little worried — it’s reportedly in full-blown panic mode.
