Donald Trump calls out Shep Smith at rally, thin-skinned Shep cuts in to respond ON AIR

Shep Smith’s true liberal colors have really been showing of late. From defending Hillary Clinton to trying to throw the “fascist” insinuation on Donald Trump, many Fox News viewers are wondering what on earth the network is thinking by keeping this man on the air.

The circus continued on Wednesday’s edition of Shepard Smith Reporting, the last part of which covered a live portion of Trump’s Lakeland, Florida speech.

Except, Shep didn’t expect Trump to call him out in public for an earlier statement he had made.

Referring to one of his previous campaign stops, Trump told the crowd, “I was in this … really hot building. It was a steam tub, it was over 100 degrees. We went for an hour and ten minutes. The people were unbelievable, and I said jokingly, I said ‘if the people of Florida don’t vote for me I’m gonna be very angry,’ and one of the news commentators said ‘Donald Trump admonished the people of Florida,’ and you know who I’m talking about. These guys are so crooked. They’re worse than Hillary Clinton. I think they might be more crooked than Hillary, and that’s saying a lot…

“They make us sound like such jerks, it’s unbelievable,” Trump said of the obvious media bias. “These are the most dishonest people you’ll ever see. These are horrible, horrible people, not in all cases but in most of them, and you know who I’m talking about back there. You should be ashamed of yourself.”

Indeed, Shep knew exactly who he was talking about, because the Fox News host then used the end of his show to respond.

Trump continued speaking on other topics, but toward the end of the 3 pm hour Smith cut off the speech right when Trump mentioned the media’s lack of focus on the most recent WikiLeaks drop. Smith then came on and said, “Yeah we reported that. We actually reported that just a few minutes ago while you were watching us on the plane.”

Then, responding to Trump’s earlier slam, Smith said, “I did not say admonished. That wasn’t the word I used. I, I said reprimanded, because that’s exactly what he did.”

Typical PC-indoctrinated liberal hand-wringer… no idea how to take a joke. News flash, Shep. Admonish and reprimand mean exactly the same thing, and Donald Trump did neither.
