In Tuesday night’s debate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine tried to describe himself as a “strong Second Amendment supporter” despite the fact that he has consistently been a stringent advocate of gun control during his years in public office.

Kaine doesn’t care, of course. Even though he actually is on record as owning a firearm himself, for Kaine and his ilk it’s all about the peasants not having the ability to defend themselves.
