You know that feeling you get in your gut when you’re pulled over by police? Sure, we’ve all felt it.
But for one motorist in Kentucky, the traffic stop turned absolutely unbelievable.
Lee Riley Freeman says she knew she was breaking the law when she drove her car with a busted headlight. And when Capt. Adrian McKinney pulled her over on a rural Kentucky road, she thoroughly expected to receive a citation, Fox News Insider reported earlier this month.
But when Freeman told McKinney she had a replacement bulb but couldn’t find help putting it in, the Kentucky lawman did what any self-respect gentleman would do: He did the job himself.
Freeman posted photos on Facebook of McKinney doing the job, and praised the officer for his kindness.
McKinney burned fingers a few fingers in the process, but sent Freeman on her way when he finished the job.
Freeman’s Facebook post has been shared more than 18,000 times and has garnered more than 2,400 comments and 141,000 reactions.
