After news broke that the father of the Orlando Islamic terrorist who killed 49 people in a gay nightclub was attending a Hillary Clinton rally in nearby Kissimmee, Florida, the Democrat’s presidential campaign put out a troubling statement.
Instead of disavowing Seddique Mateen’s attendance at her rally, Hillary’s campaign instead said they simply had nothing to do with it.

Mateen has said in the past that he supports the Taliban, an Islamic terrorist organization, and believed that homosexuality should be punished.

On Clinton, Mateen told a local reporters at her Florida rally that “Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions.”
Mateen’s son, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen, died June 12 after he opened fire in the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, killing 49 people and injuring 53 others. It was the deadliest shooting by a single shooter in U.S. history.
