On Monday, anti-police protesters gathered in New York City’s City Hall Park to make a few demands.

The 200 members of Millions March NYC, a Black Lives Matter spin-off, didn’t want much, only the closure of the entire NYPD, the firing of Commissioner Bill Bratton, and reparations paid to victims of police brutality.

Bratton announced Tuesday that he will step down effective in September. Mayor Bill de Blasio said the continuing struggle between police and some in the community “110 percent had nothing to do with this,” according to Fox News reports.

For more than 12 hours, the protesters “occupied” the park with signs that read “We see police get away with murder” and “No cop zone,” among others.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani, the architect of New York’s ascent from lawlessness into a safe place to visit (for the time being), isn’t having any of it. In a Tuesday appearance on Fox and Friends, the mayor let ’em have it.

“This is doing that stupid thing about, somebody says all lives matter and they get thrown out of school. What are you crazy? That’s crazy … These are the things Donald should be pointing out. If we go in Hillary’s direction, that’s the America we’re going to get. We’re going to get an America where if I say all lives matter, I’m gonna get punished at school.”

Speaking of the damage that officers who are accused of crimes in the line of duty suffer, Giuliani asked, “Who has apologized to the police officers in Baltimore who have been found not guilty? Who has apologized for taking their reputation away?”

“Hillary Clinton found them guilty, before they were found innocent.”

For good measure, the former mayor added, “She did fail the bar exam the first time. You do know that, don’t you?”
