A new Gallup poll shows support for LGBTQ+ issues is sliding backwards among Americans.
The survey, released Wednesday, shows that while a 65% majority of Americans still favor legal same-sex marriage, support declined six percentage points from its peak in 2022 and 2023.
Meanwhile, moral acceptance of gay and lesbian relationships has fallen to 62%, Gallup’s lowest level since 2016, Fox News Digital reported.
Public acceptance of gender transition, however, has seen a more drastic decline of eight points since 2021, with just 38% believing changing one’s gender is morally acceptable, and 57% of those surveyed believe it is morally wrong.
The dip in acceptance is mostly seen among Republicans, while Independents saw a less drastic drop, and Democrats remained steady, Gallup said.
Most Americans still favor legal same-sex marriage, but support has fallen to 65% today, down six percentage points from its 2022-2023 peak.

Plenty of X users believe the slip in support is largely driven by overreach from the trans lobby that pushed its way into schools, women’s locker rooms, and sports programs.
Yeah, that TQ+ going out of control, pushing into regular society, schools, etc.
Most Americans don’t care what you do if it’s in private. They start caring when it’s forced on them and their children.

Because the TQ+ is unquestionably tyrannical and they force team with the LGB community for legitimacy.

Notably, that trend can be seen in part of the Gallup poll that specifically addresses gender transition.
According to Fox:
Another stark contrast is seen on the issue of gender transition. Just 5% of Republicans view changing one’s gender as morally acceptable, compared to 42% of independents and 60% of Democrats. Gallup noted that Republicans’ support for this issue has steadily declined since 2021, but independents and Democrats’ attitudes had held steady until a sudden drop in support this year.

Gallup attributed the recent decline in support for LGBTQ issues to conservative backlash against DEI initiatives.
