An armed man was caught outside of Trump Tower, where GOP nominee Donald Trump lives, late Tuesday night.
The Secret Service called New York Police Department for back-up when a man with a gun was seen roaming around outside Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, according to the New York Daily News.
Police arrested the man after he walked into a blocked area with a gun and refused to comply with Secret Service authorities. It’s unclear if Trump was in the building at the time or if the man posed an immediate threat.
Since winning the GOP presidential primary, Trump has boosted security at his luxury skyscraper, telling the NY Post that residents love it because “it was already the best building in New York, and it will be even more secure.”
