In front of a House committee, FBI Director James Comey was crushed by top Republican Jason Chaffetz, R-Ut for failing to suggest criminal charges against Hillary Clinton in her email scandal.
Chaffetz blasted Comey, calling into question his claim that Clinton did not break federal law, despite mishandling thousands of emails and classified intelligence when she was Secretary of State, according to the Daily Mail.
“Hillary Clinton created this mess,” Chaffetz said, saying that Clinton “made a decision. … to avoid and bypass the safety, the security and the protocol of the State Department.”
“There doesn’t seem to be any consequence,” for Clinton, Chaffetz said. “It wasn’t just an innocent mistake. This went on for years.”
