Hillary Clinton may no longer be afraid to say “radical Islam,” but not in the same context as GOP nominee Donald Trump.

In an interview with CNN, Clinton said she would say the words “radical Islam,” but that they didn’t mean anything because it does not matter what label is applied to Islamic jihadists.

“From my perspective, it matters what we do more than what we say,” Clinton said on CNN. “And it mattered we got bin Laden, not what name we called him. I have clearly said we — whether you call it radical jihadism or radical Islamism, I’m happy to say either. I think they mean the same thing.”

Trump has repeatedly attacked Clinton and President Obama for refusing to call Islamic extremism by its name, with the New York business mogul taking to Twitter shortly after to respond to Clinton’s latest remarks.

In her address today on national security and gun control, Hillary made no direct mention of the term “radical Islam” and instead adopted her usual phrases such as “radicalization” and “extremism.”
