Fox News “will be rubbing their own faces in their own feces.”
That was the opinion of conservative talk radio host Mark Levin Tuesday after Fox News hosts failed to call Donald Trump out for his claim that Sen. Ted Cruz’s father was an associate of Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin of President John F. Kennedy.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee made his allegation on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning, and it was later addressed and laughed about on “The Five.”
“It’s not the Fox News Channel. It’s the Fox Channel. And the Donald Trump Super PAC. This is insanity,” Levin said.
“They may be laughing today, but they are going to be rubbing their own faces in their own feces! I’ll tell you that after this general election. Because they have humiliated themselves,” he said of the panelists on “The Five” before turning his attention to “Fox & Friends.”
“And what the hell is with the hosts on the Fox & Friends show? They didn’t even challenge Trump! he shouted. “Not a damn question! Nothing! Zero!”
Levin repeated the opinion of others who cite polls showing Hillary Clinton beating Trump in a head-to-head match by a wide margin.
“We are going to get our asses kicked in the general election, ladies and gentlemen!” he said. “That’s the trajectory! Maybe it will change, but likely it will not.”
Following Trump’s resounding victory in Indiana, Fox News talent Geraldo Rivera remarked that those who are blaming the network are ignoring the will of the voting public.
