In a galaxy far, far away, Ohio Gov. John Kasich believes he can still win the republican nomination, except for the fact that he is reportedly leaving the race.
Just hours after Kasich proclaimed that he was the “only hope” for the GOP to defeat Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in a general election in a new ‘Star Wars’ inspired ad, NBC News is now reporting that the Ohio republican will be suspending his campaign.

Two hours before the announcement though, Kasich released an ad which riffed on the famous ‘Star Wars’ opening credits, predicting that Clinton would defeat Trump in “the largest landslide since Reagan in 1984” if he were not nominated.Â
