Fox News Channel is being accused of helping to propel Donald Trump into popularity.

Dyed-in-the-wool conservatives are targeting Fox News on social media, claiming that the network has become a cheering section for Republican presidential front-runner.

Following the presumptive GOP nominee’s win in Indiana Tuesday, Fox News host Sean Hannity lamented the “brutal” attacks both he and Fox News has received lately from the right, claiming that he’s in the tank for Trump.

“It has been an intense circular firing squad on social media,” he said. “It has been brutal!”

“They have targeted us at Fox News, you particularly, Sean,” Geraldo Rivera observed, but added, “they’re blaming you for what is the will of the American people. This was not a Fox News creation.”

He then offered a prediction.

“I believe that even with woman, you will see a much different man,” he said. “A man that will be re-made.”

Complaints weren’t only lodged on social media — conservative talk radio host Mark Levin made the network and its hosts the subject of an intense rant Tuesday.
