Significant number of Muslims ‘danced’ over terror attacks in Belgium, official says

One Belgian official is taking the Donald Trump route of telling it like it is when it comes to Islamic terrorism.

Belgian Interior Minister Jan Jambon said that following the Islamic terror attacks on Brussels, where three jihadists set off explosives at an airport and subway cars, a “significant” amount of the Belgium Muslim population celebrated the attacks, according to the French news agency Agence France Presse.

“A significant section of the Muslim community danced when attacks took place,” said Jambon.

“They threw stones and bottles at police and press during the arrest of Salah Abdeslam,” Jambon continued. “This is the real problem. Terrorists we can pick up, remove from society. But they are just a boil. Underneath is a cancer that is much more difficult to treat. We can do it, but it won’t be overnight.”

Jambon went on to blame the Belgium government for not properly making sure that Muslims assimilate to Western culture in Belgium.

The outspoken Belgian official also said Belgium has “for many years ignored the warning signs,” of Islamic terrorism, prompting third and fourth generation Muslims to radicalize.

Jambon caused controversy with European leftists following the Brussels attacks when he said that the city’s neighborhood of Molenbeek, which has become a breeding ground for Islamic terrorism, needed to be “cleaned.”
